The Hatford boys and the Malloy girls are at it again in Naylor's latest installment of this ongoing feud, which began in The Boys Start the War (1993) and continued in The Girls Get Even (1993) and Boys against Girls (1994). It's December, and eight-year-old Caroline chooses Wally to be her partner in the December project, an interview and presentation assignment. But Caroline's plan to be Wally for a day goes terribly wrong, and now she and Wally are both afraid of flunking fourth grade. To make matters worse, the disgusting but beautifully wrapped presents they gave each other end up in the wrong hands. But even the worst situation can provide insight, and the girls and boys begin grudgingly to accept one another. Excellent reading

The Girls' Revenge is a really good book. I like the way Phyllis Reynolds Naylor can continue this series to the fourth book without having the excitement or comedy drag. I especially liked the fact that Peter keeps going over to the enemy camp, much to his brothers' anger and embarassment. I would recommend this book to any Phyllis Reynolds Naylor fan.

The Girl's Revenge is one of many books about the Hatfords and the Malloys.I love the sieries and think that this author is a very good writer!

My ten year old daughter loves this series, a real page turner! I don't know what we will read when we finish the series.
